But soft! What light through yonder habitat breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun … or maybe a shooting star. Yes, my Juliet’s definitely more of a shooting star. She doesn’t stay still long enough to be the sun. Shooting stars really are kind of like bunnies, binkying through the sky.

But what I want to know is, why hasn’t anyone adopted us? It’s a year ago this month that we were bunnies of the month, back when we were goofy teenagers. And now we’re grown up—but still a little goofy—and still no one has stepped up to take us home. Why is that? We don’t make a mess of our pen like Brownie and Honda. We don’t hide in our box like Flopsy and Mopsy. Even when they brought those busloads of teenagers through the Rabbit Center and they all wanted to pet us, we were nice. (Well, Juliet got a little impatient after a while, but she got over it.)

And I won’t say anything about myself, but Juliet is superbeautiful. Really, those rakish ears—how can you resist? And black is such a stylish color—it goes with anything. So it’s time for someone to take the plunge and bring us home. All we ask is to take our raspberry treats with us.
