Bruno was rescued last summer from San Bruno mountain. He had been living up there for three months. While on the mountain he was bitten by ticks and developed masses on his neck. These wart like masses are caused by ticks giving him the Papillomas virus. Several of the masses were removed at the time he was neutered. One of the large masses return a few months later and was removed.
Several weeks ago the mass grew back. He was being treat by Dr. Carloynn Harvey at Chabot with an antibotic and a paste-like herb that we applied to the growth twice a day. Bruno did very well during these treatments. Today he was examined again by Dr. Harvey. The growth has not improved and Bruno will have to have another surgery as well as have the growth biopsy. There is a chance that the growth can progress to squamous cell carcinoma.
The surgery will run about $400.00 which will included the biopsy. Bruno is asking if anyone can help with a donation to pay for his surgery. We are a nonprofit so your donation will be tax deductible. You can help by making a donation through Pay Pal or by check made out to House Rabbit Society, 63 Calvert Ave. So. San Francisco CA 94080
Thanks in Advance
