Annies Adopts Sugar Related Articles July is Adopt a Rabbit Month Annie's Adopts Sugar in Honor of Adopt-a-Rescued Rabbit Month "Annie's Homegrown has always proudly sponsored events for organizations that shelter and keep countless rescued rabbits, and after speaking with the kind folks at the ASPCA, we were hooked on giving a homeless rabbit a home. A few short months ago, we were on Petfinder.com, looking at all the beautiful bunnies available for adoption. "Petfinder.com led us to Sweet Binks, a great shelter in Rhode Island (aka the Rhode Island Chapter of HRS) . It was here that we met a lovely two year-old Dutch rabbit named Sugar. This sweet girl LOVES apples and carrots, but we keep her away from the mac and cheese! "The whole adoption process was easy, educational, and incredibly gratifying.
