Our latest Emergency Rescue grant has gone to Harvey’s House, a newly incorporated Kentucky rabbit rescue group, to help with the spay/neuter costs for 33 rabbits rescued from a cruelty case in Henryville, Indiana, in which donkeys, goats, horses, and 34 rabbits were found suffering.  The volunteers from Harvey’s House have been treating the rabbits for ear mites and syphilis while the courts were deciding the rabbits’ fate. Finally, the rabbits were released to rescue, which means the rabbits got out of their terrible hutches, and can now get the help they truly need.
