Let's be honest: Romeo and Juliet can be a little over- caffeinated at times. They get spooked by things that go bump in the night, even by things that are perfectly inaudible to the rest of us. They can be moody. Some days Juliet is just plain cranky. They're not overly fond of kids or strangers.
But try letting them loose in the Magic Hallway, and watch the antics! Romeo likes to sit up and look around, while Juliet practices her dance moves. If you sit down, they will give you nudges on their way from one point of interest to another.
Romeo and Juliet need room to practice their binkies and activities to occupy their curious minds. In a stable home with people who love them, they will become more calm and affectionate, but the real joy of being with these two is watching their zest for life.
Millie & Sorcha
Sorcha (with the gray spots) is a very sweet bunny—a very affectionate and low-key boy who just loves getting petted. Millie, by contrast, is a little high-strung. She's easily upset, and she expresses her feelings with her teeth. If you can get past that, you'll come to agree with Sorcha that there's just no one quite like Millie.
Millie does mellow a lot after she gets to know you. She enjoys being held and cuddled, if it's someone she knows and they don't make any sudden moves. She's not fond of nail trims and grooming, and she doesn't like vets, but once she decides you're a good, trustworthy person, she's a joy to be with.
Millie and Sorcha are both getting on in years. Millie first came to HRS in 2002, already an adult. Sorcha and his family adopted her, but then both were abandoned several years later. They have been repeatedly disappointed by people, so perhaps it's not surprising that Millie's suspicious. Could you be the one to earn their trust?
