We need a lot of help taking care of the 35+ rabbits housed at the Rabbit Center, and helping them get adopted! Learn more about our different types of volunteer opportunities. Attend one of our upcoming volunteer orientations and get involved with House Rabbit Society!

Part II – The Well-Maintained Bunny: Hands-on Class @ House Rabbit Society

Part II – The Well-Maintained Bunny: Hands-on Class
Sunday, June 9th 1-3pm

Taught by Carolyn Mosher
(Part I is a prerequisite for this class)
Class fee: $35

Bring your own bunny in a carrier! You will learn how to:
1) trim your rabbit’s nails
2) clean anal glands
3) administer medications orally
4) the proper way to groom fur and inspect skin
5) take your rabbit’s temperature
6) administer subcutaneous fluids
7) clean ears

You will receive a box of supplies which you will use during the class and extras to take home. Reservations a must. Class size limited to 6.
