Halloween Party and Open House on 10/27 from 1 – 5 p.m. Please join us for our first annual Halloween Party at the Rabbit Center! Check out the “haunted” shelter, meet & greet the bunnies, enter our costume contest, watch a screening of “Curse of the Were-Rabbit”, and enjoy frighteningly delicious food! Please invite your family and friends, too!
Hands-on Bunny Care Class on 10/28 from 12 – 2:30 and 2:30 – 5 p.m..:
n this companion class to the Well-Maintained Bunny, enrollment is limited so that participants can work with (and on) their bunny as they practice basic procedures. Participants will become comfortable grooming their bunnies, taking temperatures, trimming nails, and cleaning anal glands and ears. They will also practice administering oral medications, syringe-feeding, and administering subcutaneous fluids. Bring your bunny in a carrier and a flexible tip 10-second thermometer if you have one. Other materials included in the class fee of $30 per person.
