Letters to Lucky

Dear Lucky,
After reading about your very scary adventure and escape to HRS for happier
sunrises, I decided to put your picture on the front of my latest story
booklet about adventurous rabbits. Inside the booklet, I tell of your scary
moment and dedicated this story, the last of 15 booklets, to you. I also
made you an honorary member of the warren and especially the Long Patrol in
the story because of your bravery. I hope you do not mind this exposure to
my family members, who will read this adventure of five bunnies in a far
away place called Leicester, England. Enclosed is some money to help give
you a nice warm friendly place to stay and others that I am saddened to say
will follow. May they be as lucky as you, Lucky.
Regards, John K. Lee

Dear Lucky the Bunnie,

Thank you for writing your touching story on Craigslist on the Internet (www.craigslist.org). It must have been very, very scary to fly through the air, and hear those awful Nick and his terrible friends discuss if they should light the second fuset on you again, to blow you to smithereens. I hope they are locked up in a person-cage, *without* good hay to munch on nor anything else good, and no one comes to clean up their "pills" in their human-cage, like the good people at the House Rabbit Society keep your place all cleaned up. Better yet, the two criminal men should have to clean up after all the other human cages, while they are in jail. And they should *not* get the privilege of studying biology in college this fall, as the news story said they plan to do. Just think of four years exposure to college science labs with animals and bunnies, what that awful Nick would have the chance to do to them! Ugh! I hope the college tells him, "Sorry, no room for someone like you here!" In the meantime, keep those cute ears and nose wiggling and Be Safe, Warm and Dry, Always,

~ Your Friend, Larry

Dear Lucky,
I am sure you are being swarmed with letters as your personal account of your tradgedy is a tear gerker
(water comes out of human eyes when we are sad) I had to write you to tell you what a sweet and wonderful bunny you are. You are a survivor! I don't know if I could have survived that....I am so glad you have a special human to love and care for you. House Rabbit Society Humans are different then normal humans- We love bunnies so much that normal people think we are a little strange, and we don't even care because we have our bunnies.

When you feel scared just snuggle with those wonderful bunnies you live with.  Your story moved me and I went right over to my three bunnies and gave them big kisses and loves. Remember no one will ever hurt you again. I have emailed a person who has a whole organization dedicated to saving beautiful critters like you from bad humans and I gave him your story. I also posted a plea for you on a list of people who love animals and write letters and make phone calls for them. Rest assured those scary boys will not be allowed to do anything like this again and lots of 'rare strange' humans are working together to make sure of it.   All my love to you from me and my Bunny Crew: Razz, Jaspier (bunny loving cats) Panda, Lilly-Moon, Sylvia-Star-Bun and my angel bunnies, Cardamom and Snickerdoodle-Raisen-Pie. (they worked with the other bunny angels to ensure your safety)
