Monty (now called Shlomo) was adopted as a companion for Sassy, who seemed quite taken with the big lug on a series of dates at the Rabbit Center.
From the adopter: “We had an unusually rough time bonding Shlomo and Sassy. They had a period of hating each other and then loving each other that stumped many of the bunny experts. But they’ve been doing great now and all of us are happy. Shlomo is a VERY interactive, mellow, sweet boy. He likes nothing better than to flop down next to us and have us pat him and pat him and pat him… Well, maybe he’d choose eating our baseboards over being pet. Not sure. And he adores his Sassy now. (She has more of a taste for plastic.)”
