Mr. Patches

Let me introduce myself: my name is Mr. Patches. I don't know how I got that name—I certainly don't look raggedy, and I don't have any patches on my coat (in fact, I have particularly soft and glossy jet-black fur). I think I should a name with gravitas, like Alexander the Great or Morgan Freeman. Or Bolt. If you adopt me, we'll have to talk about names.

Most of the time I'm quiet and well behaved. I generally do what I'm told—if you tell me to sit in a chair, I'll stay there. But when I get a chance to run, I'm off like a flash! I love a good romp.

Some people think I'm shy because I don't like talking to strangers. Just give me a little time to get to know you, though, and I'll be coming over all the time for nose pets! Just ask any of the people who work at the Rabbit Center—they're all my good friends. I'd like to be friends with you too, so come on in and let's get acquainted.
