Rosebud was born at the Rabbit Center on Feb. 20, 2011, when her mother unexpectedly gave birth to a second litter (she was taken from a breeder confiscation in Sacramento). She is an absolutely stunning little lionhead girl. Rosebud needs daily grooming to keep her beautiful long fur from matting, but she is very easy to handle. And despite her disapproving expression, she’s a very sweet little girl who gets along well with people and rabbits.
Update 2/2012: Rosebud is very happy in her new home with Joseph, and has even made friends with a chinchilla named Chili! At first, Chili was scared of Rosebud’s (now Rosie) advances, and Rosie even seemed embarrassed by her own forwardness. Rosie is very affectionate with her new family and enjoys her new life!
