Getting to St Louis

Most major airlines fly to St. Louis; the airport is Lambert St. Louis International. Southwest Airlines has its own terminal at St. Louis Airport and often has lower fares than other airlines.

Directions from Airport to Venue (1201 Macklind Avenue): (about 14 miles) I-70 east, 170 south, I-64 east, exit at Hampton, turn left on Oakland, turn right on Macklind.

Transportation

A typical taxi charge to the venue or to the hotels in the area is $35.

You can take the MetroLink, St. Louis’ light rail (tickets are $2.25), from the airport to the Forest Park Station, and then take a cab the last mile or so across the park to the hotel or venue.

If you rent a car from the airport or drive, parking is free at the hotels and at the venue.

There are a number of shuttles offering services from the airport, but they are not much less expensive than taxis. If you come in at the same time as other people, you can share taxi or shuttle rides; please email us at [email protected] so that we can coordinate that. Also, we may be able to provide rides from St. Louis HRS volunteers as well.
