Enter our "Dare to Care for a Hare," poetry contest! All poems must somehow relate to rabbits and be 30 lines or less. Poems must not contain the poet's name. All ages are welcome to submit their poem, but there will be no age categories - all poems will be judged together. Each poem entered will be considered for an anthology.

The contest will be judged by poet C.J. Sage, editor of "And We the Creatures: Fifty-One Contemporary Amercian Poets on Animal Rights and Appreciation," and author of "Let's Not Sleep," "J.P. Dancing Bear," and "Billy Last Crow."

There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted. First place winner will receive $250 and publication onto an artistic broadside (small letter press poster, on nice paper suitable for framing), plus four copies. Second and third place winners will receive two copies of the winning broadside. All winners will be published in the HRS e-newsletter and on the website.

$5 per poem, or $12 for three poems; make entry fee check to Speed Bump Press

Poem's must be submitted as follows:

Poem must be printed on a single sheet. Include Poem Title, Poet's Name, and contact information on a second, separate sheet. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
