
Georgia House Rabbit Society is the recipient of a $1,500 HRS Emergency Rescue Grant.
Details of the Emergency Rescue
26 rabbits were rescued from a hoarding situation in Dawson County, GA. The rabbits all have a range of health issues, including upper respiratory infections, mites, urine scald, and tooth root abscesses. Additionally, overnight the 26 rabbits turned into 40, with the addition of 14 newborn rabbits.
Thankfully these 14 newborns will never know the suffering that their parents endured.
