The HRS Emergency Grant Program

Nov 3, 2012

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Every year there are emergency rabbit rescue situations across the country involving 15 to 1,500 rabbits. In order to help, in 2007, we started the Emergency Rescue Fund.

We make targeted Emergency Grants of $250 – $1,000 to animal shelters and 501c3 rescue organizations who are involved in a large rescue of many rabbits (at least 15).

Emergency Grant funds can be used for spays/neuters, veterinary care, or to purchase cages, litter boxes, food, hay or toys.
