Rabbit.org Foundation has received reports of scammers contacting authors—and possibly others—who pretend to represent our organization and request payment.
If you receive an unexpected message claiming to be from Rabbit.org Foundation:
- Do not send money or provide financial information.
- Do not click payment links in the message.
- Open rabbit.org directly in your browser.
- Verify the request by emailing info@rabbit.org.
Legitimate donations should always begin through the official Donate link on rabbit.org. Please report suspicious messages and preserve screenshots, email addresses, and payment instructions that may help document the impersonation attempt.

Please share this warning with authors, rabbit advocates, rescue groups, and others in our community.

Our Think Tank
The Rabbit.org Think Tank is a collaborative author credit used when an article reflects shared expertise rather than a single voice. Contributors—educators, behaviorists, and experienced rescuers—publish evidence-based guides on house rabbit care: health and wellness, safe diet and nutrition, indoor housing, litter training, enrichment, behavior & bonding, spay/neuter, adoption prep, and RHDV2 updates. We synthesize research with real-world rescue experience, cite primary sources, and update articles regularly so guardians can make informed, welfare-first decisions.
