We did it! On September 24th, Petco announced that it had ceased selling rabbits. Many thanks to all our coalition members who worked to stop rabbit sales at Petco. Our activism doesn’t stop here. We are interested in addressing many other rabbit welfare issues. We invite other rabbit rescue and welfare organizations to join our Alliance. The Rabbit.org Alliance to Stop Rabbit Sales at Petco is a coalition that has grown to almost 100 rabbit rescue organizations, influential bunny advocates, veterinarians, businesses, and animal welfare groups.
